The Division of Genomic Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai seeks a Genetic Counseling Assistant. This individual will have an integral role in facilitating patient care for the Division of Genomic Medicine, and in particular its Genomic Health Clinic. The Genetic Counseling Assistant will report directly to the senior genetic counselor in the Division of Genomic Medicine. The Genetic Counseling Assistant will perform essential administrative, scheduling, and documentation duties, and will serve as the key liaison between Division staff and patients, referring providers, and genetic testing laboratories. In addition, the genetic counseling assistant may have opportunities for involvement in the Division’s clinical research activities.
